B and I like Jamie Oliver…a lot. Not only is his food amazing and accessible, Jamie presents himself as a down-to-earth and personable kind of guy. We have one of his books and have gone through a few others. The latest one we borrowed from the library is “Jamie Oliver’s Food Escapes”. It’s another great gem! He visits Europe and North Africa, and the book is a combination of amazing recipes and travel pictures (I always find pictures accompanying recipes more appealing).
His recipes and titles reflect his personality: unpretentious and witty. “Sexy Swedish buns” caught my attention this time.
They were super messy, hence fun, to make! Best enjoyed hot, right out of the oven.
